About The Blog

Hey, I’m Heather! I’m the creator and writer of This Noshtalgic Life. I’ve spent several decades traveling, exploring, hiking, camping, and backpacking.

I love to cook and I’ve mastered the art of creating mouthwatering meals with limited resources wherever I travel; on remote islands, in the backcountry, or on the trail.

So, I am here to help you with delicious recipes for your adventure and tips for outdoor exploration. I also share my favorite gear so you can be confidently prepared. I hope to inspire you to explore the outdoors one delicious bite at a time!
