  1. Thanks for sharing these good tips. I’ve done a fair amount of winter camping but never camped on snow — and your fondness for floorless tents in the snow makes me curious… i don’t understand how, but i’m guessing that the warmth from you & your bag don’t make the snow wet?? any xtra thoughts on that you’d care to share?

    1. Hi! You’re welcome and I hope you get out for some excellent winter camping this season. To answer your question: you use a sleeping pad between your sleeping bag and the snow so your bag will not get wet nor will your body warm the snow to melt it.
